Ice Cream and Monkey Bread

The other day Ady was exceptionally good! She came when I said "come", stopped when I said "stop", and listened when I said "no". We went to the grocery store and she was good the whole time. She played with Sierra and went right down for her nap! I was so pleased with her good behavior that we took her out to ice cream that night.

She ate the whole thing, but you could tell it was quite the task

When I was putting in the cinnamon she noticed that I had to open the bag every time I got a new scoop...so without me saying anything to her she held it open for me :) What a sweetie!

We got some new games from a friend and the girls had lots of fun playing!

Summer

Did she do this herself?!? I don't think so! No, but she is trying really hard to start standing on her own. Mommy just gave her a little help :)

"Leave me alone" Says Ady

My little angel does NOT like to take naps. She screams and screams until she finally falls asleep, then I go into her room to make sure that she ended up in her bed, usually she doesn't today was no exception. Here she is right behind her door.

My other little peanut, however, doesn't mind sleeping in her bed :) But don't let her fool you, she can be a little stinker when it comes to naps too!

We went to the Hanson farm this weekend and Ady was very excited to go see the cow! She really wanted me to "open the gate mommy" but those cows are pretty big!

Again, she doesn't like to take naps, so we let her stay up. She was being really good anyway. She asked "watch Doda mommy?" so I put it on. I was standing in the kitchen and I could see her back and called to her to come in the kitchen and get a snack...nothing. I tried again...nothing. Finally I went in and found her fast asleep! She's basically standing! she must have been exhausted!

Again, as long as she's not in her bed, that's all she cares about apparently.

Since we moved I decided that we need to get Ady a little pool to play in!

My little peanut! She's so bald that I love to put little hats and bows on her...Andrew says this is too boyish.

These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do, one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! It's the middle of summer, who needs snow boots...Ady does!

New

We recently moved to a new house! There is a park right over the back fence which is awesome!

Summer Fun

We have had a busy summer here's some of the fun things we've been up to!


Ady got her first haircut! I did it myself, there were several inches that I cut off in the back.Ady had tons of fun at the annual Swart Family Hoedown.
